Tri Fold Photo Display
by Laura Williams

Creating a fun and festive tri-fold photo display can be a quick, easy, and FUN project - one that you can even whip up in an afternoon. I decided to use a stack of photos from last Christmas. The great thing about this project is that it can be altered to suit whatever size project you'd like to do. I chose to do three sections, and decorate both sides, but you could really hinge together as many pieces as you'd like! Here are the supplies you'll need to get started:

*cardboard (I recycled a Priority box I received in the mail)
*metal hinges (mine are from Close To My Heart, but other companies sell them as well)
*photos - at least one for each section, and each side you plan to create
*patterned paper, stamps, embellishments - whatever you'd like to decorate with
*adhesive

1. Start by cutting your cardboard. I cut my pieces 5x5. Create each section like a mini scrapbook page. Attach your pictures, and embellish as you'd like. I created background patterns using stamps from the Flower Garden set, and embellishments from Little Cuties.

2. After all six mini-pages were done, I laid them out in the order I wanted them. I attached the first three to the fronts of the cardboard squares. Here is the IMPORTANT PART (and the part that I forgot, as you will see from my photos) After attaching the front sides, lay out the hinges, and use a pencil to mark where the holes are. THEN poke through with a piercing tool, and attach the brads and hinges. Do all of this BEFORE (seriously, are you listening??) BEFORE you attach the pages that go on the BACK sides of your cardboard. This way, the back of the brads will be covered up by your paper. As you'll see from my photos, I forgot to do this! Instead of trying to redo my entire project, I am just gonna to roll with it - so let that serve as a NON-example!!!

3. After attaching the brads, adhere the pages to the back of your project. You'll see that I embellished the back side of mine without Christmas items, so that it could be left out year-round and not just around the holidays.
