| How to create the pleated medallion: |
 |
1. cut a 12" strip of paper 1" wide
|
 |
2. fold accordion style all the way down the strip |
 |
3. cut a small paper circle and apply a heavy duty dry adhesive {i
recommend tacky tape} to hold your paper medallion in place. |
 |
4. please note that you can create a larger paper medallion by making your paper strip widths larger, 2" instead of one. However, making it larger will most likely require that you connect two half circles of accordian pleats in order to create a full paper medallion.

5. your medallion is created and can now be used to layer with other elements.
